The Central Falls Housing Authority is a public agency that provides subsidized housing to low and moderate income individuals and families. The Authority receives federal and state assistance in order to operate these programs and, as such, is governed by applicable housing regulations issued by the U. S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.

You can either print a copy of our application from our website or pick one up at either of our offices at 30 Washington Street or 466 Hunt Street. When completed attach required paperwork and either mail back to us or drop off at the office. Once received, you will be put on our Wait List.
Yes. Each year, the Housing Authority conducts an update of our Public Housing waiting list, and you will need to complete an annual application update to stay on the list. If your update is not returned by the date requested, your application will be withdrawn from the Wait List. At any time, you may be requested to submit verification of the information you provided on your application forms. You should contact our office any time your information changes, particularly changes in address, phone number, income or household size.
At least one member of the household over 18 years of age must be a citizen.
That depends on many factors such as how many people move out, go to a nursing home, pass away, etc.
Rent is calculated according to Federal Regulations, limiting payment to 30% of adjusted household income.
